We no longer meet our teachers or students face-to-face and we use video conference applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams instead. However, things can get really boring for students if there are barely any variations of learning. I hope you are all doing great. 😊 Readers, in this post I would like to talk about another tool to help your teaching inside the classroom. The tool is called Quizlet. Have you ever heard about it? Quizlet is an online tool that allows us to create a lesson in the form of flashcards containing the target terms and their definition. Later on, these flashcards can be transformed into different types of exercises and games. Hello, everyone! How have you been? Hope you are all doing great. 😃 Readers, have you ever been struggling to find online tools to create exercises for your students? If yes, then this post will help you with that! Recently, my CALT group (Group 5) has tried a free application called Hot Potatoes which can be used to generate multiple types of exercises. This tool offers a lot of features as well as learning materials. With Nearpod, not only can the teachers compile their own files such as PDF files and PowerPoint slides in one lesson, but they can also combine their materials with all features from Nearpod such as quizzes, exercises, slideshows, and many more.
